Treatment with Oral Appliances in Obstructive Sleep Apnea

چکیده

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a disorder caused by number of factors like an obstruction the upper airway during because insufficient motor tone tongue and/or dilator muscles or inadequate growth maxillary jaw bone etc. Oral appliances (OAs) are commonly used as non-invasive treatment for obstructive syndrome. The primary oral appliance (OA) in mandibular advancement device (MAD). Tongue-retaining devices tongue-stabilizing (TSDs) second type OA, which displace anteriorly and may be customized come different stock sizes. This review article aims to examine best class on this particular subject OSA with appliances, explaining acceptability patients basis its construction results, while providing enough cognizance regarding diagnosis, management causes discontinuation.
